Previously on the USS Gibraltar:
After the Gibraltar received a distress call from a Romulan at an unknown planet, where, apparently, two factions were at war, and he was in the middle. Due to ionic interference, the transporters couldn't be used, so two shuttles were dispatched. Unfortunately, they were hit by the ionic interference, and became unable to control. Spiralling down to the sea, the crews only hoped they could survive the impact. Thank goodness they did... but now they faced their next challenge: surviving, and trying to contact the Gibraltar.

And now the conclusion.
As the crew started to make their way ashore, they had to find out which way to swim to. There were two directions to go to, and Captain McMillan took one team towards the first possible location where this Romulan could be hiding. The team arrived at shore wet, cold, but alive. After warming up a bit, the team, consisting of Captain McMillan, Petty Officer Menkez, Doctor Seesaw, Ensign Braveheart and Lieutenant JG Clawtooth, walked North East, where they found houses! Apparently this place was occupied. Nobody was in sight though... and there wasn't any damage to the buildings either! Wasn't there a war going on?

Onwards they went, passing what seemed to be a statue of some sort, of a man in a red dress and a white beard, which said 'ho ho ho'. Puzzled, the team moved on, finally coming to a beacon which seemed to be put there to warn ships of the shoreline. Surprisingly, unknown readings were coming from this beacon, and Ensign Braveheart and Petty Officer Menkez took a look. They almost couldn't believe it, but this seemed to be an Iconian beacon! With a few adjustments, they were able to signal their position to the Gibraltar.

When they beamed up, they quickly retreived the rest of the Gibraltar crew.. and the Romulan. He was beamed to sickbay, where he lay unconscious, but alive. He is expected to make a full recovery.

Due to the Iconian technology present, Captain McMillan decided to stay at this planet a bit longer than planned to do some scientific research...
