Episode 21

Summary:
Now that the Borg were driven away, and the Captain restored to his normal self, there were still questions to be answered. Why did the Borg cube explode in orbit of the planet in the first place? Why hadn't the Borg tried to assimilate the native villagers? And why had the villages been empty?

So, the Gibraltar crew beamed down once again, this time, without encountering any Borg. But when they discovered a secret passageway to an ancient artifact and a hidden village, strange things started happening. The crew got the feeling that they were being followed, and indeed, Ms. Magic saw someone up on the hill side... before being lifted up from the ground and thrown against a rock by... nothing!

As the crew found the hidden city, they realised that they weren't dealing with a pre-warp civilisation at all... the village was primitive, but the vilalgers most certainly weren't: they had evolved into non-coporeal beings, trying to protect their village, which most likely was kept as a monument. And they definitely didn't want trespassers.

It was at that point, that one by one, the crew started to black out. When they woke up, they were back at the Gibraltar, with a message in their minds: 'keep away'. That, the crew concluded, might be the best thing to do...
